To calculate winnings on fractional odds, multiply your bet by the top number (numerator), then divide the result by the bottom (denominator). So a $10 bet at 5/2 odds is (10. 5) / 2, which equals $25. A $10 bet at 2/5 odds is (10. 2) / 5, which is $4. What is Implied Probability? For example, a $100 bet at -200 in American odds (1/2 in fractional or 1.50 in decimal) with a 66.67 percent implied probability has the potential to profit $50 should it win (not total return. Framing the odds ratio effect as a percentage reduction or increase completely dissociates the OR measure from an interpretation aligned with users’ expectations of analyses. In the colloquial interpretation, a 20% reduction does not correlate to, but implies a decrease from 100% to 80% or 20% reduction from some baseline. This calculator converts odds formats between decimal/European, fractional, moneyline/American, Hong Kong, Indonesian and Malay formats. The associated implied probability is also calculated. To use the calculator, simply input the odds in the format of your choosing and press “Convert”. Positive Figures (+): The odds state the winnings on a $100 bet. Ex: American odds of +120 would win $120 on a $100 bet. Negative Figures (-): The odds indicate how much must be bet to win $100 profit. Ex: American odds of -120 would win $100 on a $120 bet. Decimals quote the potential return should the bet succeed, relative to.

The mathematical process in converting a decimal to a percent is as follows:
Odds To Percent
Convert 0.5 to a percent:
'Percent' means 'per 100' or 'over 100'. So, to convert 0.5 to percent we rewrite 0.5 in terms of 'per 100' or over 100.
Multiply 0.5 by 100/100. Since 100/100 = 1, we are only multiplying by 1 and not changing the value of our number.
[ frac{0.5}{1} times frac{100}{100} = frac{50}{100} ]50/100 is 50 over 100 and means 50 per 100.
50 'per 100' means 50 'percent' or 50%.
Therefore, we have shown that
